Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya fame Naveen Polishetty is coming up with a fun entertainer titled, Jathi Ratnalu that is all set for a grand release on March 11, 2021. On this occasion, we had an interview with Naveen. Here is the transcript.
Q) How did you bag this project?
During ASSA shoot, Nag Ashwin met me with director Anudeep. Once I heard the script, I felt it so refreshing and accepted the film right away
Q) How will you justify the title Jathi Rathnalu?
Jathi Ratnalu was kept on a satirical note. Once you watch the film, you will come to know what I’m talking about. The film is based on three silly guys and the things they do make everyone call them Jathi Rathnalu.
Q) About the producers?
As I said, Nag Ashwin met me even before the release of Agent and Chhichhore with the script. Ashwin, Swapna and Priyanka completely believed in me and offered me this film. As per my perception, they are true Jathi Ratnalu.
Q) A few words about the director Anudeep?
Anudeep is very friendly and co-operative on the sets. Moreover, he is very open to creative inputs from the actors. He has a fun side to him that has been nicely brought out in the film.
Q) Working with Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna?
We thoroughly enjoyed working on the film. We used to discuss and did improvisations for many scenes on the sets. Our chemistry is the biggest asset of the film.
Q) What can we expect from Jathi Ratnalu?
The entire film is a hilarious entertainer. It is like a stress buster for the audience. In these tense times, you just come to the theatre and we will promise you a fun ride for sure.
Q) Any new project in Bollywood?
One project is under the discussion stage. Complete details regarding the same will be out soon.
Q) Any plans to venture into OTT?
Have been getting good offers but right now my diary is filled with two Telugu films. In the future, will definitely work on web content.
