Hero Ravi Teja’s forthcoming action entertainer, Touch Chesi Chudu, is scheduled for a February 2nd release. On this occasion, we had a brief chat with one of the film’s leading ladies, Raashi Khanna. Here is the transcript.
Q) Tell us about your character in the film?
A) My character’s name is Pushpa. She is a funny girl by nature. Normally, heroines don’t have much scope to do comedy, but this character has a humor side to it. Scenes between me and Ravi Teja will evoke good laughs and entertain the audience.
Q) Did you get any compliments for your performance in the film?
A) Yeah, after watching the rushes, Ravi Teja himself had called me and appreciated my work. It’s a huge compliment.
Q) Working experience with Ravi Teja?
A) He is jaunty by nature and used to be quite energetic on sets. It’s always a pleasure to work with him. This is my second film with Ravi Teja and I’m ready to do yet another film with him.
Q) What is Touch Chesi Chudu all about?
A) It’s the story of a sincere police officer. The story has good family emotions in it. I’m sure that this film will entertain the audience.
Q) Any specific reason behind your physical transformation?
A) Yes, I changed my diet and went through rigorous fitness training to look better on screen. I’m feeling quite good now.
Q) You are doing films opposite young and senior heroes at the same time. Tell us about it?
A) It’s a good experience. While working with senior heroes, we get an opportunity to learn a lot seeing their work. On the other hand, working with heroes of my age group will make me be myself on sets.
Q) Any plans to act in Bollywood?
A) No. I’m happy with the kind of reception I have been getting here. I’m happy and satisfied with the way my career is progressing.
