We had already reported yesterday that the Tamil Nadu government gave permission to theatres to hold 100% occupancy from the Pongal season. This news was widespread and made fans in TN very happy.
Now, the latest update is that the Telugu Film Producers Council (TFPC) has written to the AP and Telangana governments and put their request before them to allow 100% occupancy in the Telugu states as well.
The film industry is the one that has been most damage due to the lockdown. Even though things have become normal, the theatres are not functioning fully. So, we need to see if the CM’s of both the states will grant permission or not in the days to come.
