Star director Rajamouli has roped in national award-winning Kollywood actor-filmmaker Samuthirakani for a crucial role in his ambitious period drama, RRR. In a latest interview while promoting his new Telugu film, Krack, Samuthirakani revealed how he got the role in RRR.
“Rajamouli has been a good friend for the last 11 years. He texted me after Naadodigal’s (Shambo Siva Shambo in Telugu) release and appreciated my work. My role in RRR is a result of our 11-year-old friendship,” revealed Samuthirakani. The multifaceted actor-filmmaker has been getting a lot of appreciation for his performance in Krack.
