With less than two weeks to go before 2.0 hits the screens, it looks like Shankar is no mood to relax. The film was recently censored and it was given a U/A certificate, and since then, the core team of the film has been busy with corrections before the prints are distributed across the world.
Since the film was shot in 3D, the team is taking care of even the minute aspects of the film and Shankar is said to be supervising the whole process from close quarters. AR Rahman, sound designer Resul, VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan have been working without a break to create the best possible experience for the viewers. Sources close to the film unit say that the team will begin extensive promotions of the film as soon as this entire process is completed.
For the time being, Lyca Productions, which bankrolled the film, has been revealing a glimpse of what went into creating the characters played by Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, and the response has been extremely positive. Amy Jackson has played a robot in this film and she will seen romancing Rajinikanth’s character as Chitti, the robot. The sci-fi epic is slated for release on November 29.
