Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s much-talked-about spy thriller, Tiger 3, released on November 12 as a Diwali festive treat. However, the film’s lackluster content disappointed fans and trade circles and the film has failed to set the box office on fire.
Now, after 2 weeks of its release, Tiger 3 finally surpassed the Rs 250 crore nett milestone in the domestic box office. The film witnessed a big jump by nearly 50 percent on its 2nd Saturday (Nov 24) and collected about Rs 6 crore nett to secure its place in the Rs 250 crore nett club. The film’s latest India nett totals to Rs 251.50 crore.
Trade analysts predict that Tiger 3 will close its lifetime collection at around Rs 275-280 crore depending on the response for Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal on December 1. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, this YRF spy universe franchise is produced by leading Bollywood filmmaker Aditya Chopra.
