Recently released Malayalam movie 2018, featuring Tovino Thomas in the lead role, has turned out to be a sensational hit at the box office and emerged as the highest-grossing film in Mollywood. Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, the movie was also released in Telugu last Friday.

As expected, the movie has grossed a massive Rs 1.74 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on its third day, which is higher than the collections of the first two days (Day 1 – Rs.1.01 Crores and Day 2 – Rs. 1.73 Crores). With this, the movie made a total of Rs. 4.48 crores in its first weekend. The flick is currently unstoppable at the box office, and it remains to be seen how much more it will rake in this week.

Apart from Tovino Thomas, the film also features an impressive ensemble cast, including Lal, Narain, Aparna Balamurali, Kalayirasan, Aju Varghese, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kunchacko Boban, and others. 2018 is released by Bunny Vass in Telugu, and the music is composed by Nobin Paul.
