Recent Mollywood blockbuster 2018 was dubbed into Telugu with the same name and released in Telugu states last Friday. The movie received positive reviews, with impressive first weekend collections.
However, on Monday, the fourth day since its release, 2018 registered comparatively low collections, grossing only Rs. 0.99 crores. The film’s collections were adversely affected by a busy working day and the IPL finale. The makers are optimistic that the movie’s performance will improve today. So far, 2018 has collected a gross of Rs. 5.47 crores in AP and TS.
Directed by Jade Anthany Joseph, this survival thriller has Tovino Thomas, Lal, Narain, Aparna Balamurali, Kalaiyarasan, Aju Varghese, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kunchacko Boban, and others in pivotal roles. Venu Kunnappilly, CK Padma Kumar, and Anto Joseph produced the movie, while Nobin Paul provided the soundtracks for the film.
