Megastar Chiranjeevi needs no introduction and is now in a stage where he is being celebrated at the movies. 2022 was a mixed bag for him as he gave a big flop in the form of Acharya.

The film directed by Koratala Siva was in the making for over two and half years and was much-awaited as it had Charan and Chiru teaming up for the first time in their career.

But sadly, the film flopped and put Chiru’s reputation at stake as the movie lost several crores at the box office. But Chiru did not shy away as he made a decent comeback with the film Godfather.

The remake of the Malayalam hit Lucifer, this film was directed by Mohan Raja. It presented Chiranjeevi in a new manner and showed him playing his age. The film ended as an above-average fare at the box office.

2023 is going to start with a bang as Chiru’s Waltair Veerayya will hit the screens on the 13th of Jan as a Sankranthi special. The film has been directed by Bobby and has Shruthi Haasan as the female lead.
