Just a few years ago, Pooja Hegde was one of the busiest actors in Telugu cinema. She was also the highest-paid actor in Tollywood, but everything changed in 2024.
Pooja was part of Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram but was replaced by Sreeleela for reasons unknown. Since then, she has not signed any films in Telugu.
The unfortunate part is that offers in Telugu cinema have dried up for her, with the likes of Sreeleela taking over. However, Pooja ended the year on a high note by securing even bigger films in Tamil.
She is now part of films with Vijay and Suriya in Tamil and has made a strong comeback. In Hindi, too, Pooja has two films with Shahid Kapoor. It remains to be seen if she will make a comeback to Telugu cinema in 2025.
