Oscar-winning Mexican filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro had co-produced a Spanish thriller titled Julia’s Eyes (Los ojos de Julia in 2010. The film was a runaway success those days. Now, after 8 long years, Julia’s Eyes will be remade in Telugu and other major Indian languages.
Telugu cinematographer Kabir Lal, who had shot some popular movies like Aditya 369, Taal, Yaadein and Pardes etc, will be co-producing Julia’s Eyes’ Indian remakes in association with the US-based production house Young N Free Films LLP and Plus Equips Productions.
Along with Telugu, Julia’s Eyes will also be remade in Tamil, Kannada, Marathi and Malayalam apart from Hindi. Award-winning American filmmaker Param Gill will be directing all the versions. More details are awaited.
