An official announcement regarding the sequel to the 2019 hit crime thriller, Rakshasudu, was made yesterday. While releasing the announcement poster yesterday, director Ramesh Varma promised that Rakshasudu 2 will be more scarier than its predecessor. The poster featured a mysterious man carrying his prey on his shoulders. The makers are also revealed that a star hero will be playing the main lead in this crazy sequel.
Now, the latest buzz is that acclaimed Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing the main lead in Rakshasudu 2. Apparently, Ramesh Varma recently met Vijay Sethupathi in Chennai narrated the film’s storyline. Impressed with the basic premise, Vijay is said to have given his nod. However, he is yet to sign on he dotted line as his dates diary is jam-packed with nearly 20 projects in the coming years.
Senior producer Satyanarayana Koneru will again don the producer’s hat for Rakshasudu 2. Stay tuned for further details.
