The female lead in Acharya has been locked and Kajal is doing the film now. Initially, it was Trisha who was doing that role but she backed out of the last minute.
The shoot was stalled at the last minute because of the lockdown situation and now Kajal is all set to join the shoots. Before the lockdown, Kajal was supposed to join the sets but could not.
So now, the makers are planning things without her as she has to come from Mumbai and the situation there is quite tense. So, the scenes which have to be shot indoors and not involve big stars are being planned by the unit and they will go on floors first post the lockdown.
