Blast Zone (Blast in Tamil) is the latest action comedy entertainer featuring Action King Arjun in the lead role. Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan played the other lead roles. Directed by debutant Subash Raj, the movie was released with low pre-release hype, but after release, things changed completely.
The film received strong reviews, and with positive word of mouth, it picked up brilliantly at the box office. On day 1, the movie sold 22K tickets on BookMyShow for the Tamil version, while on day 2, the film saw a significant jump, selling 76K tickets. Over these two days, the Telugu version didn’t trend.
On Saturday, the film is selling close to 10K tickets per hour, and the best part is that the Telugu version is also witnessing hourly trending, indicating how good word of mouth can do wonders for a film. In Kerala and overseas, the business is seeing a mammoth jump with each passing day. Sunday is set to be bigger than Saturday, putting the film on track to become a hit.
