Star actor Karthik Aaryan was last seen in the film Bhool Bhulaiaya 2, which was a gigantic success at the box office. He is currently shooting for his next Satyaprem Ki Katha, which also has Kiara Advani as the female lead.
Meanwhile, his film Freddy is all set to premiere directly on Hotstar on December 2nd. It is now revealed that the actor has gained approximately 14 kgs for the film, and he has spoken about the same. Karthik Aaryan said that Freddy film had put him under much physical strain and sleepless nights.
He wrote that the actors seldom get such opportunities to showcase a completely different side of themselves and added that Freddy is one such character. Shashanka Ghosh is directing this flick, while Balaji Telefilms and Northern Lights Films bankroll it. This is said to be an edge-of-seat thriller and has Alaya F as the female lead.
