Bollywood actress Richa Chadha who recently married off to her boyfriend Ali Fazal has made some comments on the Indian Army that became viral. She is receiving severe backlash from the netizens for her words. Going into the details, Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi shared a tweet that read the Indian Army is ready to take the Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK) back.
Reacting to the same, the actress quoted the tweet of Lieutenant by writing, “Galwan says Hi.” The actress referred to 2020’s Galwan clash between India and China, which resulted in severe loss of the Indian army. Hence the reply of Richa received harsh criticism, and many urged to file a case against the actress for demeaning the Indian army.
As her words received heavy fuss, Richa deleted her comment and released an apology note stating that her intention was never to degrade the army. She added that even her family members were part of the Indian army. Even though the actress apologized, the netizens aren’t happy with her remarks, and some are commenting to ban her films.
