A biopic based on the glorious achievements of Hyderabadi badminton champ Saina Nehwal has been in the pipeline since a long time. Bollywood director Amole Gupte will helm this project and he has been scouting for the right heroine to reprise Saina’s inspirational character.
The latest update on this prestigious project is that well-known actress Shraddha Kapoor has been chosen to play Saina Nehwal on screen. Shraddha will start preparing for the role very soon and Saina herself is excited to teach her a bit of badminton.
Bhushan Kumar of T-Series will be producing this movie and it is slated to hit the screens next year.
