There is no need to introduce Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad to music lovers in South India. The sensational music director has faced criticism from the Telugu artist Karate Kalyani.
A month ago, Devi Sri Prasad released his debut Hindi music video titled ‘O Pari’. Now, Karate Kalyani approached the police and filed a case against DSP for using Hare Rama Hare Krishna in such a song. She said that the music director hurt religious sentiments by using the phrase in an inappropriate way. Kalyani also demanded DSP to remove the chants in the song.
We need to wait and see how Devi Sri Prasad will respond to this issue. On the work front, the tunesmith is busy with multiple projects that include Waltair Veerayya and Pushpa: The Rule.
