Prabhas was last seen in the PAN Indian film Adipurush. Directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame, the film is based on the Indian epic Ramayana. The movie received a mixed response from the audience.
The film’s Telugu version had its world television premiere on Star Maa on October 29. The latest update is that Adipurush fetched a TRP of 9.47 on the first telecast. Despite the India – England World Cup match, Adipurush registered a good TRP.
Kriti Sanon played Sita, while Saif Ali Khan played the antagonist. Adipurush is produced under the banners of T-Series and Retrophiles. Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage, Vatsal Sheth, and Sonal Chauhan played other vital roles.
