Yesterday, news of an early morning update from the team of Prabhas’ highly-anticipated mythological magnum opus, Adipurush, went viral on social media. Needless to say, fans woke up quite early and they have been eagerly waiting for the big update which was rumored to be out at 7:11 AM. They even trended the hashtag #Adipurush India wide.
However, there has been no official update from Adipurush’s makers so far and it has left all the excited fans disappointed. Today is the auspicious Sri Rama Navami and a formal update was naturally expected. It remains to be seen if the team will make up for the disappointment by coming up with a surprise later in the day.
Prabhas plays Lord Rama in this epic retelling of Ramayana. Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon will be seen as Lankesh and goddess Sita respectively. Om Raut is directing this pan-India project, which is releasing on August 11, 2022.
