Mersal was one Tamil film which created many records in Tamil. Though the Telugu release was delayed by several weeks, the moment it released in Telugu, there was a decent response from the audience.
The film has completed its full run now and has managed to make 1.30 crores in the Nizam area. These are decent figures as the film did quite well in the Hyderabad region.
Vijay was seen in a triple role in this film which was directed by Atlee. A R Rahman scored the music.
