The Kerala Story starring Adah Sharma in the lead role, is doing fantastic business at the box office. This controversial movie is directed by Sudipto Sen. For the last few days, the team has been busy traveling to different cities as part of promotions, and the tight schedule made Sudipto Sen fall sick. Hence he was admitted to a hospital yesterday. Adah Sharma shared a social media post today wishing her director a speedy recovery.

Now the director spoke to a media channel during which he revealed that he was admitted for dehydration and infection. Sudipto Sen further revealed that he is doing well and added that he is expecting to get discharged today. He further added that the box office numbers of The Kerala Story didn’t overwhelm him.

Sudipto Sen further mentioned that he wants the film to be watched by as many people as possible and added that it gives him immense satisfaction. Apart from The Kerala Story, he directed a few other films, namely Aasma, The Last Monk, and Lucknow Times.
