Yesterday, the makers of 83, the much-awaited biopic on legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev and his team that clinched the 1983 ICC World Cup, made an official announcement that hero Nagarjuna will be presenting the film’s Telugu version.
Now, after Nag, stalwart actor Kamal Haasan will be presenting 83’s Tamil version. Bollywood star Ranveer Singh will be playing Kapil Dev’s role in the movie and his wife Deepika Padukone plays Romi, Kapil Dev’s wife. Directed by Kabir Khan, 83 is produced by Deepika Padukone, Sajid Nadiadwala, Kabir Khan, Nikhil Dwivedi, Vishnu Induri, 83 Films Ltd. and Phantom Films.
