The trend of re-releasing old movies featuring famous star heroes has gained momentum in Tollywood. Notably, not only films of Telugu heroes but also hit movies from other industries have found re-release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Continuing this trend, after the successful re-release of Surya Son of Krishnan, the Tamil actor Dhanush’s Raghuvaran BTech (titled Velaiyilla Pattathari in Tamil) is scheduled to hit theaters on August 18, 2023. We need to see how the movie fares at the box office.
The film stars Amala Paul as the female lead and is directed by R. Velraj. Other pivotal actors in the movie include Samuthirakani, Vivek, Saranya Ponvannan, and Surbhi. The music for this blockbuster hit was composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
