Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has been the subject of many conspiracy theories in the past few months. While the actor died of suicide, many alleged that he was murdered and several state and central agencies got involved to find out the truth behind his death.

Now, AIIMS has released a medical report, which has ruled out the possibility of murder. Dr Sudhir Gupta, who led the panel re-evaluating the post mortem report and viscera samples, has clarified that Sushant’s case was indeed death by suicide.

This revelation has come as a major roadblock for scores of TV channels and a huge section of people who kept spreading conspiracy theories about the actor’s death. Ironically, some media channels are even asking if there was a deliberate attempt to mislead the investigation by spreading false rumours all these days.

It’s worth noting that Rhea Chakraborty was accused of playing a major role in Sushant’s death, even though she kept insisting that the actor was suffering from mental health issues. Then, it turned into a probe about drug abuse, and several celebrities were questioned to find out the cause of the actor’s death. With the latest AIIMS report putting an end to all those rumours, it remains to be seen how the investigation unfolds in the next few weeks.
