Ajay Devgn is set to score his biggest opener ever with Drishyam: The Conclusion, which releases on October 2. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the makers have already made it clear that the third chapter concludes the franchise and that it is an original script.
Speaking at FICCI Frames 2026, Ajay Devgn and JioStar’s Alok Jain discussed the much-anticipated film. Ajay Devgn said, “I saw the film yesterday. My personal opinion is that it beats Drishyam 2. So fingers crossed.” Ajay Devgn’s statement is doing the rounds on social media, as the second part received unanimous appreciation across the country.
Ajay Devgn revealed that they wanted to end the franchise on a high. He added, “We all felt that the way the script and the film have shaped up, I think we should put a stop to it right now. You will have to wait and watch to find out if Vijay Salgaonkar can beat them (Meera Deshmukh and co.) or they beat Vijay Salgaonkar. It is very difficult to write a film like Drishyam.”
