Ajay Devgn’s latest outing, Dhamaal 4, didn’t receive good reviews, but audiences are lapping up the film. The comedy drama, directed by Indra Kumar, had an exceptional first weekend, collecting around Rs. 67 crores nett, which is higher than Akshay Kumar’s Welcome to the Jungle.
On the very important Monday, Dhamaal 4 held well, earning nearly Rs. 9 crores nett. The drop is about 42% from the opening day, meaning the movie is set for a good long run. Unlike many Bollywood films, Dhamaal 4 didn’t opt for Tuesday offers.
The aspect that is in favor of Dhamaal 4 is that no prominent Hindi release is scheduled for the next few weeks. The movie also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra, Anjali Anand, and Sanjeeda Sheikh in key roles.
