Ajith didn’t have a proper hit in the last few years, and with the gangster action drama Good Bad Ugly, the star hero made a good comeback. The film was directed by Adhik Ravichandran, who earlier made Mark Antony. The actor and filmmaker have once again joined hands for another movie tentatively titled AK64.
There has been no clarity about who will produce this flick. According to the latest buzz on social media, the biggie will likely be bankrolled by Anil Sunkara under his banner, AK Entertainments. The banner recently achieved success with the Sankranthi outing Nari Nari Naduma Murari, headlined by Sharwanand.
An official confirmation is pending. The shooting will begin in February 2026. Adhik Ravichandran made it clear that AK64 will be designed for family audiences, unlike Good Bad Ugly, which was made exclusively for fans.
