The suspense over Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2: Thaandavam OTT release has finally ended. Netflix made it official that the movie will be available for streaming on its platform in all major Indian languages, including Hindi, from January 9, 2026.

The dilemma occurred when Netflix added the date to its catalogue, later deleted it, and then added it again today. This led to postponement rumours, but now the OTT platform confirmed the digital release.

Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the movie failed to make big bucks for the makers but entertained a section of the audience. It is now time to see its OTT reception.

The biggie features Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinisetty, Harshaali Malhotra, Poorna, Kabir Duhan Singh, and others. 14 Reels Plus produced the film, and Thaman took care of the music.
