‘God of Masses’ Balakrishna has teamed up with director Boyapati Sreenu for the fourth time for Akhanda 2: Thaandavam. The devotional action drama completed its opening weekend with a decent reception at the box office.
Now, an interesting buzz surrounding the film’s OTT release has been doing the rounds on social media. According to reports, Akhanda 2 is expected to arrive on Netflix in the second week of January 2026. However, there has been no official confirmation yet, and clarity is awaited from the makers and the streaming platform.
The pan-Indian biggie features Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinisetty, Kabir Duhan Singh, Harshaali Malhotra, Saswata Chatterjee, and others in prominent roles. The film is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta, with music composed by Thaman.
