Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2: Thaandavam was supposed to hit theaters on December 5, 2025, but the release got pushed back because of financial issues. The team is working on clearing them as quickly as possible.
Fans have been waiting for clarity, and going by the latest buzz, the film is expected to arrive on December 12, 2025. There’s still no official word, though.
What added fuel to the excitement is that advance bookings for that date have already opened in select multiplexes in Australia. Naturally, fans are now hoping the makers will make the announcement soon.
Akhanda 2 features Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinisetty and others in key roles. Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta have produced the film under the 14 Reels Plus banner. Thaman has composed the music, and the team had even planned a 3D version for release.
