Sometime back, we had reported that the release of Akhil has been postponed due to the delay in VFX work. Latest update reveals that the post production works are nearing completion and the team is planning to the release the film during this Diwali season.
An official confirmation is yet to be received on this regard. Directed by VV.Vinayak, the film has Sayyesha Saigal as heroine. Actor Nithiin is producing the film on Sreshth Movies banner. SS Thaman and Anup Rubens are the music composers.
