Lenin completes its first week at the box office today, with Akhil Akkineni finally delivering the much-needed success of his career.
Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, the revenge drama has now crossed the $700K mark at the USA box office, becoming the highest-grossing film of Akhil Akkineni’s career in that territory. The film continues to post decent ticket sales even after its opening week.
Backed by Nagarjuna and producer Naga Vamsi, Lenin also stars Pramod Panju, Sivaji, Brahmaji, Sunil, and Easwari Rao in key roles. Thaman composed the film’s songs and background score.
