Akshay Kumar, one of the biggest stars in the country, will soon be seen in a negative role in Shankar’s upcoming film 2.0. The actor said that he respects Shankar’s vision so much that he didn’t think twice before saying yes to the film.
Interacting with the media in Hyderabad, Akshay Kumar said, “It has been 28 years since I starting acting in films, but working with Shankar sir made me feel like I was going back to school once again. The toughest part about shooting for the film was getting my make-up done for three hours everyday and then wear a special suit. It was really hot while shooting in Delhi for the film, and the heavy suit made it even more difficult, but I was thrilled about working with Shankar and Rajini sir.” When asked how he felt about not having to romance anyone in the film, the actor quipped, “I was romancing with Rajinikanth’s character in the film.”
Shankar and Rajinikanth too praised Akshay Kumar for his commitment and dedication, and said that he too believed in a dream called 2.0. The film also stars Amy Jackson in a lead role, and it is slated for release on November 29.
