Akshay Kumar has had his fourth theatrical release this year in the form of Ram Setu, which managed to gain good buzz before the release. But the film opened to mixed reviews all over. On the first day, the movie made 15 crores net, taking advantage of the holiday.
The news is that the film made around 11 crores net on its day 2 as per the PR, which means it dropped by 25% from its opening day figure. The two-day total stands at 26 crores now. As word of mouth isn’t encouraging, it would be interesting to see where the film lands by its complete run. Nushrratt Bharuccha played the wife of Akshay in this adventure thriller.
Tollywood actor Satyadev made his Bollywood debut, and sizzling actress Jacqueline Fernandez essayed a key role. Produced together by Arun Bhatia, Vikram Malhotra, Subaskaran, Mahaveer Jain, Aashish Jain, and Prime Video, Abhishek Sharma directed this flick.
