Bollywood star Alia Bhatt recently starred in the action thriller Jigra, which follows a sister’s desperate mission to rescue her brother from a foreign prison. Directed by Vasan Bala, the film, unfortunately, failed to make a mark at the box office, becoming a major disappointment.
However, Jigra is now set to make its OTT debut. Netflix has announced that the film will be available for streaming from December 6, 2024. The movie will be released in its original Hindi version, with no dubbed versions planned.
The film features an ensemble cast including Vedang Raina, Manoj Pahwa, Rahul Ravindran, and others. The music is composed by Achint Thakkar and Manpreet Singh. Produced by Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Apoorva Mehta, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra, Jigra now hopes to find a wider audience through its digital release.
