Allu Aravind is a very experienced producer who has seen it all. At the trailer launch of Sree Vishnu’s Single, he was asked why audiences are not coming to theaters and why the industry is in panic mode.

Allu Aravind stated that it is all because of the COVID-19 effect. “People have gotten used to OTT platforms and think there’s no need to spend so much money on films by going to theaters. So, it’s the responsibility of filmmakers to come up with subjects that will pull audiences back to theaters,” said Aravind.

His new production, Single, hits the screens on May 9, 2025. The trailer has captured the imagination of many, and we’ll have to see how much Single earns once it lands in theaters.
