Icon Star Allu Arjun and star director Atlee have teamed up for the fantasy action drama Raaka. The makers are being extremely cautious and continue to remain tight-lipped about the film’s story.
While Allu Arjun is expected to complete his portions by the end of this year, the film will reportedly be released only during Christmas 2027. Atlee is said to have planned extensive post-production and VFX work. With leading Hollywood studios handling the visual effects, Atlee will require considerable time to ensure the VFX output meets expectations, say the reports.
Deepika Padukone plays the leading lady, while Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in key roles. Sun Pictures is backing this big-ticket entertainer on a massive budget. Sai Abyankkar is composing the tunes.
