Allu Arjun played the role of a hot-headed Army man in his recently released film, Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India. During one of the promotional events recently, Allu Arjun revealed that he had submitted an application to join the Indian Army.
“During NSNI’s Kashmir schedule, I had personally seen how hard the army soldiers toil to keep our country safe. I was so inspired by them and wanted to join the Indian Army as an honorary member and even submitted an application. I wish the Army accepts my application,” said Allu Arjun.
Film star Mohanlal, cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, shooter Abhinav Bindra and others were earlier honored with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army.
