Few days ago, the Hyderabad Traffic Police Department announced that it’s going to launch a massive campaign to create awareness about traffic rules and driving vehicles among the people. Now, the department has roped in filmmaker SS Rajamouli and Allu Arjun to come out in support of this movement.

In a formal event, where hundreds of students from various colleges gathered, both SS Rajamouli and Allu Arjun addressed the gathering to stress the importance of following traffic rules. Allu Arjun’s speech, in particular, received great response from the students and the traffic police department applauded both Rajamouli and Allu Arjun for doing their bit for the society.

Addressing the students, Allu Arjun said, “I’m honoured to be part of this campaign and Rajamouli sir himself is an inspiration for all of us to create awareness on this topic. I want to stress on the fact that we’ve to undergo a lot of self-control and self-realisation to follow traffic rules at all times, even though it might be tempting to break them when no one’s watching. Moreover, I want to say that it’s not cool to drink and drive. And lastly, when your hands are on the steering wheel or on the bike, you’re also responsible for other peoples’ lives. We’ve to be really careful about what we do once we are driving on the roads.”
