Allu Sirish has acted in a handful of films over the years; however, the actor himself confesses that he is yet to strike gold at the box-office. After making his debut in Radha Mohan’s Gouravam, he went on to act in films like Srirasthu Subhamasthu, Okka Kshanam, and ABCD over the years. Now, he’s awaiting the release of his upcoming romantic drama, Prema Kadanta, which also stars Anu Emmaneul in a lead role. Rakesh Sashii is directing the film.
In a recent interview to a Tamil newspaper, Allu Sirish made quite a few candid confessions about his own career and what hasn’t worked in his favour. The actor said, “I had to transform myself both physically and mentally because of the slack in my career or the right choices I haven’t made despite the potential I have. I have to admit it, else the world will show the mirror to me someday. It is high time that I made the right choices. I don’t want to put myself in a rat race . I feel that I am answerable to myself first. I wasn’t where I wanted to be in five years’ time on the professional front. So I analysed what went wrong and decided that I need to take more responsibility. In short—no more distractions.”
Prema Kadanta is said to be a modern take on relationships, where the boy is in love with his girlfriend a lot more than she is. The film’s first look received a good response a few days ago, and the team is quite positive about how the film is shaping up. Most part of the shoot has been wrapped up, and it’s slated for release later this year.
