Alia Bhatt-starrer Alpha, the first female-led spy action thriller from YRF’s Spy Universe, was directed by Shiv Rawail. Despite the strong cast and the backing of Yash Raj Films, the film had a disappointing run at the box office.
The latest update is that Alpha has now locked its digital premiere date. The film is set to stream on Netflix from August 28, 2026, in Hindi, while there is currently no official confirmation regarding dubbed versions.
Sharvari plays the other lead, while Hrithik Roshan makes a cameo appearance as Kabir. Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor also feature in key roles, adding to the film’s star power.
After struggling to make a mark theatrically despite its connection to the popular Spy Universe, Alpha is now ready for a second opportunity on OTT. It remains to be seen whether the film can find a stronger response among streaming audiences.
