Hindi film superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s highly-anticipated action thriller, Jawan, is slated for release on June 2. However, with no agressive promotions planned so far, SRK fans have been miffed with his production house Red Chillies Entertainment. In fact, rumors are rife that Jawan will not release in cinemas on June 2 and that the makers are planning to postpone it to a later date.
And star Tamil actress Nayanthara’s visit to the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai earlier today has given hopes to all the upset fans. Apparently, Nayan landed in Mumbai to dub for her role in Jawan. Fans are of the opinion now that Jawan makers are still planning to release the movie as scheduled on June 2 and that there’s no change of plans.
Jawan is being rumored to have been inspired by Kamal Haasan’s yesteryear classic, Oru Kaidhiyin Diary. The Atlee directorial also features leading Hindi film actress Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in prominent roles.
