From the past one year or so, news has been circulating among film circles is that a biopic based on the most popular actress in the South in the ’80s and 90’s Silk Smith is going to be made soon.
Recently, news also came out that popular Telugu anchor Anasuya will be playing the lead role in Silk Smith’s biopic. As the news went viral all over, responding to the same, Anasuya took to Twitter and wrote: “I am NOT playing #SilkSmita Garu in any biopic. Thank you. 🙂”.
Currently, Anasuya is doing a key role in an untitled Tamil film which has Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.
