The heartthrob of millions of Indians, Tripti Dimri, was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action drama Animal (2023). In an ultra-glamorous role, she outshined the film’s lead actress, Rashmika Mandanna. The film turned out to be a massive commercial success, providing Tripti with a major breakthrough in her career.
Since then, she has signed on to play lead roles in Anand Tiwari’s comedy-drama film Bad Newz opposite Vicky Kaushal, Rajkumar Rao’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, and Kartik Aaryan’s horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. In no time, Tripti also secured a role in Karan Johar’s new production.
The second film in the Dhadak franchise, titled Dhadak 2, stars Siddhant Chaturvedi of Gehraiyaan (2022) fame and Tripti Dimri in the lead roles. Helmed by Shazia Iqbal, it is co-produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud9 Pictures. It is slated for release in November 2024.
