Vishwak Sen’s Gangs of Godavari is all set for a grand release on 31st May. The film, directed by Krishna Chaitanya, is based on a few real-life incidents. Neha Shetty and Anjali are the leading ladies. The team started giving interviews.
In an interview, Anjali said, “I play Rathnamala, and the character is unlike anything that I have done before. While dubbing for my role, I told my team this was the first time I uttered cuss words in a film. I don’t use abusive language in real life, too. It was very surprising for me as the director approached me for Rathnamala’s character.”
When asked what made him envision Anjali in such a role, director Krishna Chaitanya said, “Proven artists like Anjali have the ability to perform any kind of role. Hence, I choose Anjali.” Naga Vamsi produced this action drama.
