Anjali was last seen as a prostitute in Vishwak Sen’s Gangs of Godavari. She is once again set to play the same character in her new web series, Bahishkarana.
The series is all set to stream from July 19, 2024, on Zee 5. The promo has also caught the imagination of one and all. We have now come to know that Anjali has mouthed some really bold curse words in the series.
She will be seen as this courtesan who goes against the system to find redemption. Bahishkarana is set in the samll town of Guntur during the year 1980. Mukesh Prajapathi has directed this series which also has Ravindra Vijay and Sritej in key roles.
Bahishkarana also deals with casteism and suppression of the lower class in a backward village and how a woman played by Anjali goes against all odds is the basic story of the series.
Bahishkarana will have six episodes in total and will be available in Telugu, Hindi, and all the other southern languages from July 19. Watch this space for more updates.
