For a long time, Hyderabad movie lovers have been disappointed by the absence of an IMAX screen. Mahesh Babu and Asian Cinemas rose to the occasion and announced an IMAX screen under the name AMB Classic.
The latest reports suggest that another IMAX screen is coming to Hyderabad near the Financial District. Aparna Cinemas is said to be developing a 12-screen multiplex at Wipro Circle, where this new IMAX screen is expected to be established.
With the recent introduction of premium formats like PXL and Dolby Cinema, Hyderabad movie buffs are already elated. If the city gets more than one IMAX screen, it will be a surreal moment for audiences in the city, who are among the best in the country.
