Sankranthi 2027 is already packed with several films, and if the latest reports are anything to go by, another movie from the Mega family could join the festival race.
Sai Durgha Tej’s Sambarala Yeti Gattu was initially planned for release in 2025 but is still in production. The movie is now reportedly being considered for a Sankranthi 2027 release, with January 12, 2027 being discussed as a possible date. Interestingly, this is the same Sankranthi date on which Primeshow Entertainment’s Hanu-Man released in 2024 and went on to become a blockbuster.
Mega Prince Varun Tej’s Bhari is already confirmed for a Sankranthi 2027 release. If Sambarala Yeti Gattu also joins the race, Mega fans could be in for back-to-back festive releases from the family.
Directed by Rohith KP, Sambarala Yeti Gattu stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Sai Kumar, Ananya Nagalla, Ravi Krishna and others in key roles. The makers are expected to announce the release date and further details soon.
