Sivakarthikeyan and AR Murugadoss are teaming up to entertain audiences with the action-packed thriller Madharaasi. Until a few days ago, expectations were low due to the director’s recent outings, but one trailer changed everything. It hinted at solid action sequences backed by a strong storyline and a heartwarming love track.
Madharaasi will hit the screens on September 5, 2025. The film has wrapped up its censor formalities with a U/A certificate. The approved runtime is 167 minutes (2 hours and 47 minutes). The duration is quite lengthy, and it remains to be seen how Murugadoss has designed the screenplay.
For lengthy films, the screenplay needs to be tightly packed, as there is a high chance that audiences may get distracted if there are dull moments. Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead, while Bollywood actor Vidyut Jamwal essays the antagonist. N.
